Well being is a state of balance which we seek to be in, in as many ways as possible, Mentally/Emotionally, Physically and Spiritually. The funny thing is, when we choose to work on any one of these areas, it will have an impact on the other areas. This is the nature of balance and personal growth. This site will help you focus on Emotional/Mental Well being and the many ways you can reset the balance. Have a look around and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
In all of my work, be that, individual, group, corporate or training, I seek to work towards the outcome identified at the contracting stage. We will work to find balance and competence in life. I have been working with people to create Wellbeing in their lives for many years.

Psychotherapy is a process through which you explore the impact of your experiences in your life. There are many ways to do this and Hugh has a very integrated way of working in psychotherapy. Sometimes putting words on experiences is difficult, so we will use creative ways of giving voice to whatever is happening. Counselling is usually a shorter term process and may focus on a particular issue, eg grief. Psychotherapy may take a longer time, yet seeks to help re-orient direction and focus.

Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy are a way of helping you tap into your untapped resources through the use of trance and psychotherapy skills. Your mind holds all that it needs to make the changes you would like to make and so we focus on tapping into that attitude. If you think about creating solutions in your conscious mind, we find, the conscious mind becomes part of the issue. Whereas if we learn to use our subconscious mind, we find a powerful force to help us.
Hugh says: ‘ The goal of all the work I do is client empowerment. No matter what a person presents with, the outcome seeks to have them in the most empowered place possible to engage with and manage their lives. Having worked with many issues over the years, the person coming for help has always sought to be able to live more freely and to be able to manage life.’
